Nice, comfortable room with all the amenities you'd expect including a safe in the room. Our room had a balcony overlooking the water. Staff memeber on checkin was very helpful with public transport onfo into San Fransisco. Breakfast was a full continental including toast. Very comfortable, friendly atmosphere.

Because of it's wooden construction a little creaky, but nothing to worry about.

Beautiful harbor views and pretty seasise walk nearby.

They tried to give me a room with no view, after I had reserved and paid extra for a waterfront room. I had to go to the front desk and complain about the room not being as specified. They did move me to an appropriate room, but the woman at the front desk was not gracious about it and they would have left me in the cheaper room if I had not refused it.

One of the standout features of this hotel is its excellent value for money. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail and overall quality of the experience. Additionally, the hotel is located in a prime spot between two yacht clubs, providing guests with stunning views of the marina. The rooms are well-equipped with basic amenities, including a fridge and microwave, allowing for added convenience during your stay. Furthermore, the staff at this hotel are extremely friendly and helpful, ensuring that your needs are met with a smile.

While the hotel had a great view and wonderful service, there were a few minor issues that could be improved upon.

First of all, the value and quality for my money was definatley unbeatable. I cancelled a reservation for a one night stay at a high priced, name brand hotel and got two nights at the Marina Village Inn for the very same amount. The room was clean, the pool was warm, the continental breakfast was fresh and on time, the location was ideal, parking was always available, and the proximity to all of our destinations was 10 minutes or less. My husband's 51st birthday get-a-way excursion was simply ideal. I would say of Marina Village Inn that it is a lovely little hideaway on the grande isle of Alameda. Do come folks, do come. Honestly, there was nothing that I didn't like. Really!
